Guest Reviews & Ratings
I had a lovely stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless and comfortable, perfect for a family like ours. The friendly staff were always ready to help, making for a truly enjoyable experience. The location was ideal, close to all the attractions but still peaceful. The dining was impressive, offering more than expected. Definitely a place I would return to!
The hotel was an interesting blend of positives and negatives. The rooms were really clean and comfortable, complete with a big bed that felt like a cloud. Owner Mark prepared a brilliant breakfast but the big four-poster bed, while grand, could be a hurdle for some due to its height.
I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, and the owner, Mark, went above and beyond to ensure a delightful experience. The breakfast prepared by Mark was a highlight, although there were minor issues with service. The location was perfect for privacy yet close to all the action, ideal for couples seeking a relaxing retreat.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is top-notch, being just a short walk from the lively Thame Street with plenty of free parking available. The rooms were well set out, although a bit tight on space for solo travelers with lots of luggage. The service was fantastic, with friendly staff baking cookies in the kitchen and offering helpful assistance throughout my stay. The dining experience was delightful, especially with the freshly cooked meals in a serene environment. Despite some minor flaws, like the toast needing a little extra something, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms in the main house were huge and offered every amenity we needed, beautifully appointed with a great shower and comfy bed, but the downside was the small size, cramped bathroom, lack of electric outlets, and a musty smell. The service, especially from Rachel and Jess, was very friendly and accommodating, providing helpful recommendations. The location was excellent for exploring mansions, the cliff walk, and Thames St, though the uphill walk back could be a bit challenging. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with a nice chefs omelette and freshly baked cookies but overall being mediocre. The hotel facilities were decent with a cozy kitchen setup but lacked certain conveniences. Overall, a stay with some highs and lows.
I absolutely adored my stay at this charming hotel. The location was perfect, with easy access to local shops and the harbor. The friendly staff went above and beyond to assist me during my stay, and the dining experience exceeded my expectations. Overall, great value for money with delightful surprises like a freshly made breakfast.
